Re imaging

whenever I try to re image the cRio to Java, It gives me an error message saying "timeout while waiting for reboot, system is offline". can anyone tell what the problem is and what some possible solutions are.

Depends on your setup.
Connecting your PC and cRIO through an intermediate switch sometimes helps. Some PCs can be very quick to drop a connection when the cRIO goes through an IP changeover. Network switches are more forgiving.
