Is there a rule that says you cannot have anything underneath the frame? We are planning to have a ramp that is fixed onto the robot. It'll help the ball into the robot. Is any object allowed beneath the robot bumper? Or should we have a motor that'll drop the ramp down after the start of the match.

You are allowed to have any compliant components within the frame perimeter's vertical projection such that they do not exceed 60" at the start of the match.

I would still suggest having the ramp retractable. Then it will not snag things, and it can be used as an extra way to keep balls in. I don't know your design though

Your wheels are under your frame, aren't they?
Now if you mean something sticking out underneath and beyond the edge of your frame, well then, that's your appendage. It must be inside the Frame Perimeter at the start of the match, and you must bring it back inside if you want to use another appendage.
Of course, anything you use must not damage the carpet or other field items.
