Hi.

Has anyone tried attaching an AndyMark or Fisherprice motor to a RS-5nn P60 gearbox? The motors seem to all have very similar shaft specs.

We're planning on having three RS-550 BaneBot motors with P60 gearboxes for our three conveyor belts.
We were thinking about using AM planetary gears for the AndyMark (http://www.andymark.com/product-p/am-2082.htm) and Fisherprice (http://www.andymark.com/product-p/am-0822.htm) motors, but they are out of stock and we don't know when they will restock.

These are all standard 500 size motors, (.125" shaft, M3 bolts on 25mm spacing) and will be completely interchangeable.

There will be slight variances in shaft diameter/length (diameter barely changes), and more so on can diameter/length; but they are still all completely interchangeable.

The BB motors do not have Knurled shafts. The AM and FP motors do.

The P60 gearbox pinion is not set up for the shaft being knurled so you may need to sand the shaft (Just a bit, not too much).

We have mounted the Fisher Price motors to the BaneBot P60 transmissions in the past. This year we are using several 500 series motors which will include the Banebot RS550, AM, and FP.

We have 3 conveyor belt zones to control and 2 ball intake rollers.
