Our 37 pin ribbon cable is broken. To order from Digikey you kind of have to know what you need. I was wondering if one of you could toss me a link to a replacement part.
Thanks

Same thing happened to us. Odd.

In what way is it broken? It consists of three parts, do you need all 3 parts or just one? Maybe it could be repaired if you know how?

Sadly, not after our freshmen attempted a fix.

Is the ribbon cable itself damaged beyond use? What about the connectors, is only one messed up, or both of them?

I don't know if these are the exact parts used, I don't have the cable handy to look them up, but this is the kind of stuff you need to order.

The cable itself is kind of expensive if you have to buy a whole roll of it.

Or do it the easy way, get a senior to supervise the freshmen when assembling it

FWIW, we created a ribbon cable for our own use last year. We got the ribbon from our primary supplier (it was actually 50-strand that we cut down to 37) and got these parts:

Oddly, it seems they've gone up in price significantly since last year... they were cheaper than what we found on digikey at the time, but apparently not anymore...
