Using Fontstruct.com, I've built a TrueType font suitable for bumper numbers on a short bumper segment. This year, frame sections can be as short as 8". If the bumper for this is made to extend over the corner space, it will be 11.25" long.
This font, when scaled to 4" tall digits has a stroke width of .75" and a width of 2". By spacing digits .5" apart, any four digit number will be at most 9.5" wide, which will fit nicely on the 11.25" bumper segment.
I will be posting the font on CD-Media, but until it is available there, you can go to fontstruct.com, register and then search for FRC2530.
