When I heard Nate was going to EMU (near our sister team #66), I told those guys they should sign him up!

Knowing that Nate is closest to our Team (470 Ypsilanti High/Visteon) I wish we had signed him up instead .

Hey Daniel,

Since Massachusetts is closer to Michigan than California, I say team 69 gets the first chance! :-) Besides, we are hurting for a really good programmer! Nate, the door is always open in Quincy for you! (Besides, where else could you get those really cool parrot shirts? lol)

Well, since I can't be everywhere, helping out all 380 or so teams, that's why I'm doing things like release the dashboard library...if anybody's got any other programming questions, feel free to e-mail me...my e-mail address is at the bottom of this message.

Also, just a little bit of an update on the Dashboard...would you believe that I've already coded the pre-beta version of the entire decoding library? Just have to test it out to make sure everything's being decoded the way it should be =) My current target for finishing it is Monday if not before, but that's only if everything works right the first time...how often does that happen? =)

There is a project to Open Source the entire Dashboard program, the design is for a modular and is customizable by the user without a bit of coding, all in all very cool. I am happy to say that Nate S. has already contributed his code to the project.

As a person who has seen his code, both in source and in action I must thank him it is brilliant. i tried to make it crash every way I could and after the final Beta I could not.

We have an mailing list for the project to subscribe email:

Thanks for setting this up! I just subscribed, and I have about 3-4 people on the team interesteed in working on this project. (We were all busy this weekend building a proto of our machine, so we didn't get to put much time into playing with the BETA)
