Hey, we have been having trouble with servo motors. i have been reading and i found out that we need a jumper. can someone please tell me what that is? any help is appreciated. Thanks!

What are you trying to connect them to?
EDIT: Silly me, I realize now what you are talking about. On the sidecar next to the pwm out connector there are two pins. For servos, these need to be bridged. The jumpers are what are on hard drives and such. Look like these (http://www.startech.com/media/products/jumper254/Large/jumper254.Alarge.jpg)

we are connecting the servo to the PWM connection ports.

KOP checklist page 17:
Jumper
female, 2-pin shunt, black or white
PN: 68786-102LF
You should have 4 of them.

Your local Radio Shack usually carries them (http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2103807)too.
