Hey everyone,

I've been working with Greg Marra on figuring the webcasting and archiving situation for the 2012 season. Our goal is to have as many events webcasted and archived as possible, but we need you to help!

I've updated the page on FIRSTwiki (http://www.firstwiki.net/index.php/2012_Webcasting_%26_Archiving) to lay out a method of webcasting and archiving in one setup. At the bottom, there is a list of events and volunteers for webcasting and archiving. Please sign yourself up if you plan on volunteering!

If you already have a established way to webcast and archive, then by all means go ahead with your method.

For those of you who have less experience or want to try out my setup, I have outlined an inexpensive setup (<$20 + a computer) that is relatively easy to get running and provides a means for both webcasting and archiving. I highly urge you to volunteer to webcast/archive for your event if no one is already doing so.

If anything is unclear or you need help setting anything up, please let me know.

Thanks, and good luck this season!

Other than a few youtube videos did anyone record the Gull Lake District event? I will be saving the You tube videos off shortly but I just want to know if anyone has video even if its 6-8hrs long?

So far this year we have the least number of people lined up for recording.
