Why aren't there many events listed in CD Events?

Someone needs to "request" an event and have it approved. I won't presume to do that for events I'm not responsible for.

I just submitted the Rutgers and Mt. Olive Districts, the NYC Regional, and the MAR Regional Championship.

Can a moderator check the events waiting for approval? The events that are said to have been added in this thread haven't shown up yet.

I've added VA, NC, and DC.

Why doesnt CD just scrape the FIRST website for this like, for example, FRC Spy does?

Not a big deal, but these still haven't been approved yet. I noticed that CD-Media approvals have been slow as well. I know this is still a busy time of the season for everyone, but who is responsible for moderating/approving these parts of the forum? I'm just wondering if more moderators need access?

Maybe they simply don't care about this and would rather focus their energy on something they deem more important.

That may be a bit extreme, but yes people do have other things in their lives besides moderating Chief Delphi.

I checked the event queue yesterday and didn't see any pending events.

Well then something's funky, because I know that I submitted the Rutgers and Mt. Olive Districts, the NYC Regional, and the MAR Regional Championship.

All of those are currently there. There are actually two events for the MAR championship (one with "MAR" and one with "Mid-Atlantic Robotics.")

You don't get to the full list of events simply by clicking "more" at the top of the page next to the countdown, and I'm not sure why. However, once on that page, when you click the "events" link under the gray "events" header*, you can get to the full list.

*You can also click the header for a full list, but the format is not as easy to scan

Does FRC Spy just "scrape" the FIRST website? If so, where on the FIRST website does it get individual match data for Bridge, Foul, Hybrid, and TeleOp?

I put in requests for Alamo, FLR, Boston and DC but there is a good chance I may have done them wrong as I have not done this before.

I made a request for Bayou a few days ago. It's up. (Others may have made that request, too. ) I'm happy to see it in my signature! Boop boop de doo...

Sorry, typo, I meant FRC Spyder, the Android/iOS app done by Wildstang, which probably gets it's data from a private server that does the scraping for it and maybe aggregates the FIRST web data with the Twitter data, though I'm disinclined to believe the only way to access match-by-match data is the twitter feed.
FRC Spy, the CD tool, from what I've seen gets almost all it's data from the FRC Fms Twitter feed, https://twitter.com/#!/frcfms.

Why do you say "almost"? The FRC Spy match data appears to be an exact copy of the Twitter match data. The data fields and the data appear to be identical, and FRC Spy contains all the same errors and omissions as the Twitter feed.

BTW, does anyone have any insight into what happened to the Twitter (and FRC Spy) match-by-match data for the Oregon and Traverse City events? That data is totally missing.
