Clearly they are prototyping a light weight hover-bot in an attempt to avoid using the rover wheels on rigolith. Luckily , they soon realized that low traction is better than no traction.

Maybe it's time for them to start using the kitbot again...

The CAD was nice, but they just couldn't build a custom robot.

Although they had a championship robot, the printed images on the frame made it perfectly clear that it had been designed prior to kickoff and was therefore disqualified. This was team 399's first experience with the Red Tape of the rules...
