Maybe it's just photo perspective, but in this photo 3601's front-left bumper seems way too short to have passed inspection.

Do you mean front right? From the angle of the photo, the right one looks smaller than the left. It may be legal, may not, may just be the angle of the picture. Not sure.

It seems they are two different lengths if I remember from last weekend at Kettering, but both sections are over 8inches.

As a member of 3601 I would like to assure everyone that the picture is at an odd angle and both bumpers are the same size and passed inspection.

Based on the Exif data given by flickr, the particular photo to which Eric linked was taken at a focal length of 16 mm, which is an extremely wide shot. No doubt that's the source of distortion.

Once again, incredible photos. In my opinion, this year's game has allowed for some of the most photogenic gameplay and robots yet.
