I can see the pictures fine. There is no bumper for part of the front corner that violates the 8" required so I hope that already is or will be fixed. Otherwise, nicely made robot.

We have a bumper that goes there. It just wasn't attached for that picture.
You mean that minecraft spinoff?

I demand a reveal video with Motorhead backing music.
Great looking robot guys! Love the bridge manipulator and the lights. Also the name is probably more of a Vegas theme than a Minecraft reference.
Should have named it MO-ZILLA after Mike Moser from the UNLV baskteball team! This just in, Las Vegas regional will now be called the Lob Vegas Regional for all the scoring that you guys are going to do.
Great job guys!

Looks very elegant and robust, I'm a fan. Can we get any more specs? I presume you will have your excellent camera tracking as always.
Will you be attending champs this year? I really hope to check this out up close, I've always been a huge fan of 987 robots, and that burnished aluminum looks so cool. Best of luck at competitions (although you always seem to have Lady Luck on your side!)

I love that song...hadn't thought about it for our video(s). Thanks for the idea, Sean.

;)
We're actually using kinect-based aiming and rpm control this year. It's been been working very well in practice so hopefully it will do the same tomorrow.

Another great robot from team 987.
No doubt that robot will qualify for CMP, and hopefully we'll see a 359-987 matchup as teammates.

Holy accumulators Batman!
How long does that take to charge...?
Looking forward to seeing it in action this weekend at LA!
I see uninsulated battery terminals D: D: D: (Sorry, couldn't help it, I'm in charge of my team's batteries :P)

It takes about seven minutes to charge but we only use about 15 PSI a match, the majority of them are mainly there for containment of the ball.

We had an amazing time playing against you guys in LA. You played awesome offense.
Wow your robot is nearly identical to our haha. (1817, reveal coming)
How well does the bridge manipulator work? Does the window motor keep the arm rigid? Without much stress on it that is.

Notice the little servo next to the window motor? It locks down the bridge manipulator, alleviating the need for a strong anti-backdrive device or a high torque motor.

I know this might be a bit late, but what were the speeds (FPS) of the drive train for this robot?
IIRC, about 4 fps in low, 15? fps in high...until one of the drive train crew corrects me of course;)
