**FIRST EMAIL**/FIRST Night Out in St. Louis



Greetings Championship Teams:

We are pleased to announce our 2012 FIRST Championship Finale: FIRST Night Out in St. Louis, sponsored by Boeing!

On Saturday, April 28, 2012 after the FIRST Championship Closing Ceremonies, experience FIRST Night Out in St. Louis! At this celebration, you will have the opportunity to explore four attractions that make St. Louis a star:

The Gateway Arch;
The City Museum;
The Saint Louis Science Center; and
The FIRST Has Talent!! Show at the Ferrara Theatre in the America’s Center. In order to participate, applicants must submit their talent act electronically to firsties@andymark.com by the submission deadline of Monday, April 16, 2012. Be sure to read the complete submission requirements found in FIRST Night out in St. Louis detailed description (link below).FIRST Night out in St. Louis includes admission to all four events: the Gateway Arch, The City Museum, The St. Louis Science Center, and The FIRST Has Talent!! I can't seem to find the cost of this to purchase tickets out right per person. Does anyone know or see it online somewhere?

Dean Simmonds and the Kamen Brothers.

I don't know, but if the FIRST Has Talent show is run anything like a) the IRI Talent Show and b) last year, chances are high.

No big Friday night concert. This is a Saturday event. I recall hearing about something very similar last year, but just within the Dome. So, it's still entirely possible that there are two fields in the pits.

I was thinking along the lines of - they've figured out how to coordinate a FIRST Night Out in St. Louis and coordinate with the support of all the different venues. Each one listed is wonderful. St. Louis is full of fun and exciting things to do and they are beginning to tap into the fun. I didn't give any thought to a big concert because it was on a Friday night last year, right?

More hope for all 4 fields in the dome- Friday Night at the Ballpark!
As much as I enjoyed the concert, the pit fields had their challenges.

I sent an e-mail to Steele asking about Finale tickets, and their reply was "It has not been determined yet if we will have tickets available on site. If we do, they will be $45 each and we can only presell them to teams that reserve hotel rooms with us."

Well I'm in St. Louis currently, and I spoke to Steele Meetings about getting tickets for FIRST Night Out, and there are NONE available.

They told me they won't be selling at the event.

With that said, I'm looking for 2 extra for my wife and I if any team has them to spare.

Does anyone know when this starts and ends? I've been looking through the available materials and haven't found anything of that sort yet.

Near as I can figure, it starts after closing cerem. and happens simultaneously at four St. Louis spots. I think you have to pick your activities carefully if you want to do more than one of them.

I believe that teams that booked their hotels through Steele Meetings will pick up their tickets at the venue. (These packages included tickets). Folks that did not book through Steele won't be able to attend since they are sold out.
