As always, the deadline is sorta kinda halfway Saturday at midnight Eastern. (And with no competition to wear me out this weekend, I might even judge it Sunday!)
Go!

Electricians are odd. This is how they show you they want Victors.
It just so happened to be human player try outs day...
If it was a gray Jag, that backing would be SO full of holes, slits, and projectiles!

Ahh, the places the Mechanical/CAD people put the electrical's on the robot is astonishing.

Jaguars always get the dirty jobs - driving motors either forwards or backwards endlessly around a small playing field. It's a hot and thankless task. Ultimately someone always rains down metal filings and then the Jaguar dies in a flurry of sparks. This little Jaguar managed to escape the electrical board and was caught here in the act of scaling the wall on the way to total freedom.
I wonder how fast that Jaguar had to run to wedge itself into the backboard?
Driver: Did the shooter break?
Coach: No, why?
Driver: We seemed to have lodged a jag into the backboard
Coach: ...I blame the programmers.
We tried to isolate the problem with our robot, removing one piece at a time until the problem went away... 'nuff said.

They took me a bit to literally when I told them to use jags in the shooter...

The jaguars are truly rebellious. They sometimes just jump off the robot.

The stealthy and speedy Jaguar is among the more dangerous control system components in the Serengeti. It lies in wait for unsuspecting robotics teams to pounce upon and then blows up in their faces.
rawr!
NPOE: I would have reposted this, but too many people already put up the same idea:
So, it's not just our robot that throws out all the Jags that we put on it...
Today's FRC drive trains are just too powerful. Witness the centrifugal force that was just created.
Does this fall under <G-10> - I can't find a definition for "grasp, grapple, or attach"?
Quick! Somebody find a reasonably astute observer!
Too soon?

Jane: This caption contest is giving me a headache.
Backboard: Tell me about it. At least you don't have a Jag stuck on you who thinks it's a basketball.
Jag: And the crowd roars, "Cut the nets! Cut the nets!"

New for FRC 2012! The Jag D@^#-i-tall training target! Your drive team will line up and make the shot every time. :D

The trick to capturing wild Jaguars is the adhesive on the paper: It needs to have just the right stickiness, and a mild version of the mating scent (essence of electrical smoke) to attract them. (Small bits of aluminum chaff helps, too).

The only time a jaguar has been right on target.
The Jaguar is in timeout until it realizes that "motor direction opposite day" is not a fun practical joke to play in the middle of a quarter final.

I think the magic smoke is really getting to the electrical guys

Nobody move! If we stay perfectly still it can't see us... then it's just a matter of waiting for a CAN timeo- Oh! okay, we're good! At least it wasn't a stray Victor, they don't give up as easily.
Once the magic smoke gets out of those jags... you might as well use them for target practice ^^
Hey! you random guy who just walked in! Put this where we can find it while I look for the screws that just grew wings.

It's a Jaguar on a backboard. Nothing to see here...

It might have been born a jaguar, but in its heart, it will always just want to be a spider.
As close to a moment of reflection as a Jaguar will ever get.
