Battery problem :(

Hi :)

we are the Joker team 4320 from Israel.
this year we won the Rookie All-star and the highest seed award.
we requested not to ship our batteries to the championship because we are not allowed to carry any batteries on the plane.
we will get only 2 batteries from First at the championship. (2 batteries is not enough!!!! )

if your team can help us and borrow us batteries at the championship it will be great!

This seems to be a problem with all Israel teams this year.

Sounds like this is a recurring problem for the teams from Isreal. I would hope someone from FIRST could find a way to help out with this situation, perhaps with a pool of batteries for foreign teams. It is a disadvantage they should not have to deal with.

You may choose to have AndyMark (http://andymark.com) deliver batteries to your pit. They are offering a pit-delivery solution for championships, and are selling batteries for $89 (334 NIS) for a set of two. While you won't be able to bring them back home, this may be your most reliable solution.

As I have mentioned on similar threads to this, we (Team 1676) will be bringing extra batteries along with us, and although we are on Archimedes, please feel free to stop by our pit and we'd love to help you out.
