FIRST has yet to release the Floor plan for the Championship event onto their site and many people are leaving for St. Louis tomorrow! I took some time to extract the floor plan image from the Android app that FIRST made. Here it is:

I already posted it here (http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/showthread.php?t=105908), but I'm sure that it will be more useful in this sub-forum.

Thanks a lot! I was wondering when and where they were going to post it.

We're next to 1114, couldn't ask for a better neighbor!

33 is in a pretty sweet corner along with 48, 180, 25, 16, 103, 125, and 148.

Looking forward to champs

Wohoo, corner spot! WiredCats, Broncobots, and Exploding Bacon? Plus being ~40ft from the midcourt of the practice field? Sweet! Can't wait to get there now!

This is really helpful! Thanks! 103 is really looking forward to competing with all of these great teams.

I heard we ended up in a sweet location. I'm looking forward to meeting our "pit-mates"! :D 180's journey begins this evening. Have a safe trip everyone.

Oh boy, close to the freight doors, right in the middle against the back wall. 4265 between a Prep school and a rookie team from TAIWAN! wow. such a long way from the courts though... Went looking for the teams around us, and a question popped up. How many teams from my area are here? Answer: just us. Any others from TN? Answer: nope, it's just us. I feel slightly intimidated now. *insert panicked packing* Anyway, we leave tomorrow at 6 AM. See everybody there!

Hope they have the chance to update the floor plan to correctly spell the name of one of their major sponsors.

I also see the First Hall of Fame. Do they have a Second Hall of Fame, too?

Also close to inspection, Pit Admin, practice field, and Mike and Justin in the Morning (340's pit - no they don't have a secret live on location table set up anywhere). Seems like a pretty legit location to me!

I also prefer to walk on an FRC/FTC Robot Path, rather then FRC/FTC Robot Part.

Yes, after 9 matches that will get quite painful. Atleast being in Archimedes, we wont have to walk on it as much.

Does Curie really have only 88 teams?

No, it has about 100, like the others. It's probably a typo that was supposed to read "98."

the count of teams in the area is 100. Not sure what the 88 means. Maybe it tells the venue crew something about the area.

Anyone know if there is a printable version anywhere?

Does anyone know where/which door(s) we actually load in through? I know we queue at 5th and Cole, but then what?

Can someone explain why the teams are ordered by numbers. It seems to me that it would be better if inexperienced teams were beside experienced teams, rather than all together.
Also I'm sad that it'll be about 30 years before we get to be on the side near the robot path.

It is impossible to find anyone when teams aren't ordered numerically. I understand why some events mix teams up, but it's incredibly frustrating and exhausting walking laps around the pit trying to find teams.

Pit map? I know that's what we did at GTR-West

It's more realistic to do maps and random ordering of teams when you have 60, not 400.

We're right next to Miss Daisy, The Cheesy Poofs, RUSH, and our sister team, RoboDawgs 3-D! What a great positioning!

If the numbering went orthogonal to the current sequence, then each row of 4 or 3 would start with a low-number team and end with a high numbered one. I think the point about exposure to experienced pit activity is well taken. Inspiration is easily 80 % exposure to good practices. The low-numbered teams could also look that much better in comparison.
Just my $.02 after a short stroll tonight at pit closing time.
