Wow! What a week! St. Louis was so fun, and the competition was absolutely incredible! Also, it was SO AWESOME meeting and hanging out with so many of you this past weekend.

The voting is now open for our Post-Championship show, which will take place live on SATURDAY NIGHT at 10:30pm EST at http://www.livestream.com/MikeandJustinITM Head on over to http://www.frctop25.com/VoterPage.html to vote! We'll be taking votes throughout the whole week!

Please remember: just because a certain team did not make it to Einstein, does not necessarily mean they need to be voted for lower than a team that did. And vis versa- just because a team made it to Einstein, does not mean they are better than a team who was a finalist, semi-finalist, quarterfinalist, etc! Vote for your opinion on who the best teams are!

Also, feel free to email us at MikeandJustinITM@gmail.com, tweet us @MikeandJustin, or post in this thread if you have anything you'd like us to discuss on the show Wednesday night (such as Chairman's, FMS issues, etc).

Thanks for all your support this year, lets make this the best show yet! We almost hit 200 viewers last week! Remember, this week's show will be on Saturday, not our normal Wednesday!

Would my votes be disqualified if my #1 vote was for the FMS? When it comes to great moments in this game, it is undefeated.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to jblay again.

Let's not start a fourth thread on this subject...

Oddly enough the robot at the top of my list didn't make Einstein this year, congrats to 341 my choose for the #1 robot! I'm interested to see how many of the Einstein teams make the list as well as where they fall.

Also Mike and Justin, took me a second to recognize you guys when talking about co-op. It was great to meet you and I was amazed at the ingenious plan for your final match. Unfortunately, (or fortunately for 548) it didn't work out for you, but that might be our smoothest balance to date!

All jokes aside though, I am very interested to see how this cast goes. I suspect the chat is going to blow up more than a little bit during the "breaks".

I voted! :D

Hopefully some recognition time for a team that destroyed most of the competition in Archimedes but wasn't fully recognized by others as a powerhouse team: 2415.

It was interesting to say the least how this time around, my voting was affected more by strategic robot performance than raw performance. That factor was way too important in the Einstein winning alliance's acquisition of 16 in the 2nd round of picks.

I don't think I am seeing many defensive bots up there. I almost think we should have a short list of crazy defensive bots, there were a handful of crazy strong ones!:ahh:

I agree! Teams like 207 and several others demonstrated greatness that deserves some recognition too. In other words, there is more to the value of a robot than how many points it can score...especially one that can literally fly! (check out the Curie semi finals between 233, 987, and 207 vs 1477, 1744 and 3528):)

Psst! it's 1741! :D although 207 ripped through our bumpers during one of those mad dashes, so that last number might have looked like a 4 after the battle damage.

My apologies...still suffering jet lag and post CMP exhaustion:D

Does Bomb Squad count? That was some of the scariest defense I've ever seen. That robot flies around the field an steals all the balls :)

In all reality though, I agree with you completely. A solid defensive robot is invaluable to an alliance and can help shut down even the best scoring robots. We tend to overlook then just because they don't have a recognizable number or they were a 3rd pick, but they are still great robots. Second the idea for having a top 10 defense bots list.
