Are those sessions different or do they build off of one another?

It's one workshop, the goal is to try to give mentors and teachers an intro to every aspect of the team since many times rookie teams don't have more than one or two mentors.

We also want to build the community by getting a group of new mentors in a room together for a couple days. Hopefully it will build connections that will allow them to find solutions to the problems that arise while running a FIRST team.

It's going to be different than the talks and presentations that are normally given at workshops. Much more hands on and question driven. Similar to the rookie build days / quick star builds but just for mentors. That way the mentors can take the knowledge back to their team once build season rolls around.

Is this a free event? I'm interested, just need to make sure I don't have any work conflicts those days.

Yes it will be free, the only cost will be paying for your dinner on Friday night. We are planning to go out as a group.
