does anyone know what teams are going to Cowtown Throw Down? There website doesn't have the 2012 list up yet. :confused:

The event (http://cttd-robotics.com/) will be held on the Lee's Summit High School Campus on Friday November 2nd and Saturday, November 3rd 2012. The competition will start at 6pm on Friday night and will go into the late afternoon on Saturday.

Nope, sorry. This year we attended Greater KC, Oklahoma, and bought into Champs.
Between Greater KC and OKC, a few members of our team stayed at school for our spring break and completely redesigned our shooter. Between OKC and Champs, a few members redesigned our bridge manipulator so it's even more effective. I'm thinking about looking into a non-pneumatic stinger.

By the way, what is your robots drive train for this year?
It's just a simple 4 wheel skid. Wide robot. 4 kit wheels (not the sticky ones from this year, a few years back)

Oh okay cause we were seeing allot of problems with other robots trying to balance on the bridge, because of their drive train. some of them couldn't even get on the bridge, they just kept sliding.

This is your teams first offseason event? Wow, well it's allot of fun, it's nice because your not under any pressure. so yeah its allot of fun! :) this will be my second offseason event, so I'm super excited as well! And yes me too, I wish they would get it up soon...
