UCF students and professors are holding a car wash and bake sale to help fund NASA since congress is proposing to cut $300,000,000 from the unmanned planetary sciences budget.
The UCF group’s Planetary Exploration Car Wash and Bake Sale will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 9, at the Chevron adjacent to campus, 1640 E. McCulloch Road.

I’m not involved with the event, but I think it’s a hysterically brilliant idea to get media attention, so I’m going to go buy a cupcake.
