So there's a prominent team, Innovation Thirst, that is part of the RBCC, and our group (Atomic Robotics) is a new one for this year so we created a fun project that involved students from 3929 as well as adults and college students from all around Philly. I was wondering if there are other FIRST related teams who entered into the contest. If you did, post up what you made!
This year's contest (http://creation.redbullusa.com/) was to create a project based off an Arduino, dubbed the Bullduino.
Here are the projects so far for 2012 that are from FIRST people:
Innovation Thirst (http://www.robogreg.com/needel/656) - used VEX components to create a mobile cooler/opener/serving robot for the beverage of your choice
Atomic Robotics (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y_ImI09oVyw&feature=youtu.be) - used the Bullduino to create the BlimpaBullduino which flies towards sounds and music. Stage two of the project is a custom bull shaped balloon.
Also be sure to check out the non-FIRST projects that are posted all over, just search Redbull Creation Contest :)
Last year, Innovation Thirst went onto be one of the 12 finalists, so let's see if they can do it again!
Side note: Greg Needel's other projects are really awesome as well, check them out! http://www.robogreg.com/projects
