What an absolutely amazing list of teams. But only 4 will stand alone atop the world. This is where history is written. This is where redemption is fought for.
Sad that only 1 of the 3 world champs are attending though. :(

Really excited to be able to come down and watch the action, though our robot won't be there.
Getting excited to watch the webcast even though i won't be there still will be fun to watch.

Unfortunately, I'll be in Cape Girardeau at my internship. Would have loved to attend though.
Also kind of shocked to see that 868 is the 37th team on the list, does anyone know of another event so veteran heavy? Means we've got more than 40 teams with a decade of experience or more.
We're really going to miss 25 :(

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think this is because they have been transitioning the selection criteria from Location based (Indiana teams getting a HUGE boost in selection priority) to almost entirely performance based... Aside from more IN teams applying due to reduced logistics costs (compared to other states), to me, it looks like being an Indiana team is of marginal if any benefit in terms of making the list.

The existence and growth of CAGE Match (http://www.thecagematch.com/) took a lot of pressure off the IRI selection process. Now IRI can fully embrace its role as the competition where egos come to play.

Actually 3 cameras - one mid way from each end, and one in the corner of the gym to provide a full field view. Students will switch the video feed going out to the best / most interesting action.

Works on my iPhone, but ads run and then lead to a black screen on both iHigh and theredalliance

works at TheRedAlliance and on iHigh for me. But the quality is not that great, everything is saturdated with a shade of red, so the basketballs look like Breast Cancer Awareness basketballs.... not that it's a bad thing, but I don't think that's supposed to be the real color of the basketballs... ;)

Someone who's there, are the balls actually pink? The colors on the cast look a little messed up, but not enough to turn orange balls pink.The ball color is the same as always.

It's not the camera. The balls are being shot so much and so fast, they're jumping out of their orange skin. ;)
