Hello everyone,

I am enrolled in the Project Lead The Way course: Engineering, Design and Development or EDD. I am also a member of FIRST Robotics Team Ranger Robotics 3015. In this course students work in small teams to research, design and construct a solution to a problem they create themselves. Part of the problem solving process is gathering data via surveys, so my classmates and I have developed the attached survey and would be extremely grateful if you would take the time to complete it and/or give us feedback with your ideas.

*for intended purposes, “battery housing unit” is defined as whatever your team may use to hold, transport, and charge your teams batteries.

Just took it; very well thought out survey. Good job, and good luck.

Nice survey. I probably provided more information than you were looking for :p

The last questions about a product that would serve as a battery cart had to be answered no, only because we built one specifically for our needs a few years ago that we're very happy with. We only built it because there wasn't any good solution already available on the market (besides, the parts we had to buy were fairly cheap)!

I had put yes, but we are in the same situation. In the future is one came out though and our current one needs to be replaced, we would certainly look into it, though.

I answered this, but we also have a current cart. Of course, there is always room for improvement.

We use battery transportation as a practice student design project, so I doubt we'd be purchasing one. Good luck, though!

We liked the new 3 bank battery chargers from AndyMark, so last year when they came out, we got 2 and built a cart around them.

If this is a preliminary survey to generate ideas for a project, having room for either the KOP one-bank charger or AndyMark's three bank charger is a must.

Hello everyone,
First of all thank you so much for taking the time to complete this survey and to also reply to the post! We have received a lot of feedback and it is greatly appreciated. We would also like to ask though that the next time that your team holds a meeting that you ask your team members to complete the survey so we can gather even more data! :)
