FRC 4668, Spartans, look to be the only rookie for now with a lot of second year teams competing this year. The TigerBytes look forward to competing with some old friends and making new ones this year!!

Bayou is a really fun regional. I mean, it's New Orleans after all! :D If any teams are still looking for that 2nd regional and week 4 is an option then grab one of those last open slots and come on down to the Bayou. You will have a blast!

With The Pink Team registering, the list just keeps getting better. We're as excited as ever! It'll be interesting to see who fills up those last 5 spots.

First Robotics Team 1758 From Florence South Carolina is excited and working hard to get to the Bayou Regional! Can anyone tell me where it will be held and what to expect when we get there. Fellow southern states!!!! #captfrc1758 :D

The Bayou Regional is held at a wonderful venue called the Lake Pontchartrain Center in Kenner, Louisiana near the New Orleans airport side of town. Here is the venue web address: http://www.pontchartraincenter.com

As to what to expect, Bayou is a VERY fun and festive regional with a typical New Orleans party atmosphere. We have a Mardi Gras style robot parade to kick things off so bring your Marti Gras party attire. I'm sure Rachel and some of the other regulars will jump in here but come ready to have a lot of FUN!

FRC Team 2973, The Mad Rockers, just cleared the waitlist. This is our fifth year, 2nd Bayou, and the first year we've gone to 2 regionals; we're back to back coming from Peachtree so we'll running on adrenaline alot of the time. We've been blessed by grants and sponsorships, most with the last 3 weeks, so hopefully we can turn that into a competitive team and robot (for a change :o).
