It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I am posting this.
A close friend and family member of teams 254, 968 and 1538, is no longer with us.
Jacqueline Ha was a former student and returning mentor of Team 968 since 2005. Jacqueline was involved in many aspects of FIRST, but, mostly known for her outstanding mentorship of teams in the state of California. She has volunteered at a number of regionals and multiple world championship events. FIRST was Jacqueline's passion.
After graduating high school, Jacqueline strived to become a nurse to better the lives of many. She then enlisted as a combat medic specialist with the 272nd Battalion of the U.S. Army.
Jacqueline lost her battle with cancer Monday, November 12th, 2012. She is survived by her husband, Bryce, her parents, her two brothers and a sister. She loved this program and will forever be remembered as part of the FIRST family, family member and friend.
