Undo Tessellation

I saved a file in a hurry, and today I realized I tessellated the crap out of the model. Is there any way to undo this now, a week later? Thanks!

If it was done with an Edit Poly modifier you could remove the modifier otherwise you'd just have to remove individual vertices.
