Happy FIRST Kickoff!

For FIRST teams planning to attend the Philadelphia Kick-off Event at Upper Darby High School hosted by FRC Team 357...

Al Ostrow (FRC Team 341) and John Larock (FRC Team 365) will once again be presenting a session on preparing your Chairman's Award.

If your team has questions about the Chairman's Award, please send one or more representatives to this session. We will focus on the topics that participants are interested in discussing. We will do our best to answer any questions you have!

Classroom details will be provided at the event.

We are looking forward to seeing you there!

Will there be any notes or summary materials posted somewhere for those of us very much interested but who do not live in the Philly area? I'm sure we could all learn something from 365 and 341.

Too bad Philly's just a little too far away from us =(. Could this presentation possibly be recorded? As Rachel said, I'm sure many people would love to be able to see it.

Hi everyone and thanks for your interest.
John and I have talked about the question of recording the session.

We have decided not to record for this particular session. Although there is a presentation component to our talk, we are mostly having a conversation with the participants. Since the session is mostly about addressing the very specific needs of our audience, we thought it would be best not to record.
We want our attendees to be able to speak candidly about their own particular CA Award issues.

To follow up on Al's comments, the session we are holding at the Philadelphia Kickoff at Upper Darby will be more conversational in nature, so recording it may not be the best way to share.

However, we can share the presentation that we will be referring to during the session.

I will do that later this weekend.

Does anyone have a list of all the workshops being offered at the Philly kickoff? I've looked online and can't seem to find them.
