Have you done all of the following?
Put in your team number and file name into the options for the FIRST downloader
Ensured that your IP address of the computer you're trying to push code from is on the same subnet as the robot
Ensured that the robot responds to a ping request

Can you FTP into the cRIO? The downloader just transfers files over FTP. Try typing ftp://10.your.teamnumber.2 into a browser and seeing if you get anything while connected to the cRIO.

I ran into the same problem yesterday, I was able to communicate in every way with the cRio and ftp code over but the windriver deploy function was simply not working.

If you can FTP into the cRIO, you don't strictly need the deploy function, you can transfer over the code by hand. But it would be nice to figure out the problem.

If you want to transfer the files yourself using FTP, you'll need an FTP client. I recommend FileZilla. Sadly, I can't remember the exact location you need to put the .out file in right now, and I can't check our cRIO until tomorrow.

The download half. How do you send a file using IE's FTP?

I drag and drop using an ftp session opened in Windows Explorer to get files to the cRIO.

Oops, I misread "Windows Explorer" as "Internet Explorer". Silly me.
