At the end of week one, I was wanting to see how many teams were ready to build a prototype of their robot. We're ready how about you?

174 has two prototypes of one particular system complete, did a bit of testing and are going to be voting on the final concept this week. Other prototypes for other systems are in the works as well but need greater proof-of-concept testing.
Glad to see your team up and ready to go! Good luck this year!

4183 already has a prototype drivetrain from before the season. We have prototyped a disc transport/ storage device and started working on a shooter (though we're waiting for some pneumatic wheels to ship to completely finish)

I think we'll probably start manufacturing this week. We're behind where we would like to be with the new frame rules and some tough requirements.

We're finishing up second iterations of prototypes and doing some preliminary integration. Hopefully testing goes well and we proceed to the CAD!

oops I voted before reading the question! I thought you meant build the robot, not a prototype.
We were building prototype stuff last Tuesday.

We started prototyping monday, but yesterday was when our frame started to get cut and ready to put together. We're going for a 3rd iteration of our shooter and collection mechanism, and a 2nd prototype of our intake. Hopefully we have this same progress continue throughout the season.

TechnoKats finished building the prototype robot Friday and its software was tested without putting it on the carpet. Final wiring was complete Saturday morning and it was being driven around a lot all afternoon.
Belts are nice.

We are still brainstorming the design. Mainly because 2/3 of the team is new this year and don't know much about robotics. We'll get there though - great mentors on board pushing everyone along.
We've had a working drive train since Kickoff. We're currently designing and prototyping scoring mechanisms.

We've gotten the abstract elements of design nailed down as of yesterday, now we're going into prototyping and blueprint mode.
Building the KoP drivetrain next weekend hopefully, after we've decided on the final dimensions of the base (dependent on the aforementioned prototypes and blueprints).
Our first drivetrain with the new size limitations is almost done, but it will be a test mule not a competition drivebase.
