It took us a little longer than we had hoped, but our drive train is assembled. This live axle West Coast style drive train is about 95% COTS parts. Suppliers include AndyMark (gearbox innards), WCProducts (hex bearings and wheel hubs), Team221 (frame and gearbox plates), and Robot Marketplace (colson wheels).

While the mechanical team was assembling the drive train, the electrical team was populating and wiring the belly pan, and the software team was developing code on our summer development drive train. We expect to assemble the belly pan to the drive train at our next meeting and emerge with a functioning robot base.
