If you have the 8-slot cRIO, it doesn't matter whether the camera goes into the cRIO or the D-Link, although everything works better if the camera goes into the D-Link.

If you have the 4-slot cRIO, you have to plug the camera into the D-Link. (Obviously)

Yes, it is expected that you will have the camera plugged into the DLink at the Regional.
