Moving a motor a certain degrees?

Is it possible to move a motor one rotation without encoders? If so or if not how can I do it?

You don't need to use an encoder, but you do require some kind of feedback sensor to tell you when the motor has moved the desired amount. For a one-rotation action, a lever arm or cam and limit switch might work.
