Hey FRC teams!

The last week of build season is a stressful time. We want to remind you to have some fun while you are building your 'bots, so we have a new video and contest.

Check out our AndyMark Harlem Shake video (http://bit.ly/UfuWvr).

You can make your own "Harlem Shake" video, and upload it to YouTube as a video reply to our masterpiece. We will give 20 AndyMark t-shirts to the team who has the most YouTube views for their Harlem Shake video at the time of midnight, Eastern time, on Tuesday, Feb. 26th. Also, your video will only be eligible for this prize if there is an AndyMark and FIRST logo in the video.

I thought someone may mention this. That is a red disc from team 3940. I drilled a couple of holes in it, and added some latex tubing and a foam pad.

I'll bite: How did 4334's bumpers wind up at AndyMark? Forgotten after IRI?

I heard this second hand from a team member of mine who went down to IRI without our robot but I don't think 4334 were able to take the bumpers home with them due to difficulty of travelling with so much stuff so far on a low budget. How they ended up at Andymark is another story entirely and one we will have to hear from Andy.

They winded up at AndyMark because 4334 couldn't get them home and the fields went back to AndyMark so there was a place to store them until an appropriate time for them to be returned.

Not eligible for the competition.... but our school was doing a harlem shake and we snuck the robot in... (without the shooter mounted or any other fragiles that could break if robot got damaged). It is in the bottom left corner... Although lesson learned: robots + 1000 person mosh == broken pressure gauge. Girl danced backwards into robot and sat on it. Luckily robot still made it to the bag fully working.

Apparently most are making H.shake (meme) videos without having been "instructed" to do that. The only reason I can make this observation is after having read the wikipedia entries for both styles. I think this post will be the first mention of the meme form of video. I also have no sleeping bag imitation of a mummy in my non-video. My dad's name was Al B. Does that count? :D
