Hello,
My team and I are trying to use an absolute encoder this year on one of the motors, to take out some of the guess work while shooting the Frisbee at the target. We have tried using the code example but still no results. Also, the Absolute encoder is the only sensor we have besides the Ultra sound. So using a different sensor is not an option. Any help will be gladly accepted, and greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

What part number is this Absolute Encoder? What code example are you trying to use?

I was trying Encoder.lvproj and the part number is
E3P-360-250-D-H-D-B.

E3P is an incremental encoder, no?

It might be an incremental encoder but when we where looking up the encoders when we came across its number it said it was an absolute encoder.

Oops on my part, It is a E4P-360-250-D-H-D-B.

What document said it was an absolute encoder?

That's an incremental encoder too. What are you trying to measure with this encoder?
