Hey everyone, pretty much what the title says, is there a good way or an easy way to attach a limit switch to you robot? Specifically, this is the switch that we're trying to use: http://www.usfirst.org/uploadedFiles/Robotics_Programs/FRC/Game_and_Season__Info/2011_Assets/Kit_of_Parts/Honeywell%20Microswitch.pdf
Any pics or examples would be helpful too.

epoxy works for us. just be sure it is in the correct location.

We have different ways of attaching depending on what we're attaching to. Usually, we use small screws and tap whatever we're attaching to. Sometimes, we'll just use small zip ties.
I usually drill through-holes in whatever the switch is attaching to, and then put small zipties through the holes. Makes it easier to take off if needed, but may not be as strong (or aesthetically pleasing) as using epoxy.

I suggest using Velcro or mounting the switch on some standoffs.

The 3M foam tape in the KOP is perfect for this. Unlike using epoxy the switch will be replaceable. Unlike screws the tape won't vibrate loose. Unlike zip-ties it will look neat and professional. Just make sure to clean any surfaces with denatured or rubbing alcohol before applying the tape.
