Does anyone know the alliance that has scored the most points in a sanctioned (ie IRI doesn't count) FRC match, and which game it was? I would imagine the crown is either held by Overdrive or Aim High.

How are we comparing points on a game-to-game basis? The only valid way I can think of would be in a ratio to the average match score that season.

I'm curious to hear this answer as well. Playing around with some numbers for this year, I think we will see at least a 78 point autonomous.

Put together a 7 disc auto like 1986 with two 3 disc high goal robots and you have yourself 78 points to start the match :ahh:

On a 1:1 ratio. A point is a point is a point.

We are just curious who holds the bragging rights for highest autonomous point score of all time, and if that mantle has a chance of being passed to a new holder this season.

Depending on how you define autonomous scoring in 2007, some keepers could arguably be worth 128 points.

Highest score on the board at the end of the autonomous period. "Sadly" this would remove all of 2009 from contention (which, if you know anything about my distaste for that year you will understand is almost ALWAYS a goal of mine).

Chris Pinecone has suggested WI QF3.2 from 2006 by 111, 1625, and 1816 -- can anyone top 71 autonomous points?

2003 would deserve honorable mention. While points weren't locked in after autonomous, many matches were.

Why hasn't anyone thought about 2010! I remember autonomous being a huge part of that game ;)
