Nice and clean design. I love how you guys went with the same old Beadlok's despite the smaller robot footprint.

Well...this made me scared :yikes:

AWESOME robot as always guys. Can't wait to see you this season.

I noticed that you guys didn't put down Lehigh (MAR Champs) on your list of competitions you're going to. Is that because you didn't want to put it because you weren't certain that you're going yet, or are you skipping it since you are both (25 and 103) qualified for Einstein already (I believe 103 did that last year, so another team might have the chance to qualify)?

We don't know if we will be going yet. :)

It's almost painful how much you were able to simplify down all the systems compared to most designs so far. Absolutely beautiful!

That is not possible, sorry! It's because the song was used in full length.

Assuming this is the video from Premiere Night(on mobile right now), awesome job as always. That drive train is so nice. I can't wait to see these two in action at TCNJ

Thank you so much and there are additions from premiere night...

It seems that a climbing mechanism has been added. What level does this climb to, and how quickly? Do you have any video of it?

That is totally the song I was going to use for a season video.

This is about the time I get mad at myself for not thinking of that simple linkage solution for transitioning the hopper from ground loading to shooting. Saw it on 2363 as well and just face palmed.

Good luck this weekend at Hatboro and see you at TCNJ!

Good robots. I wish you guys could have teased us a bit more with thye hangers and shown us something though. :D

But I am sad though that Orlando will have neither 25 nor 103 attending this year. This will be the first time since 2007(it was a fun 5 years with you guys) that we wont have one of you guys here. I guess this means 103's streak of WFA winners at Orlando is done.

Don't worry Akash, the simplicity of the shooter is offset by the complexity of the climber.:yikes:

Great robot you guys hope to see y'all at champs again this year! I really like the moving bucket indexer to feed the Frisbees!

Loved showing how all of the single wide floor pick-ups can still have a dominant autonomous. Imagine if 2 robots on the same alliance hit for 42 each in the auto....

How are you going to run the -under the pyramid auto- with the climber attached?

The climber tilts back (while shooting the first three discs) such that the robot is < 30" tall and able to clear the lowest bar of the pyramid.

thanks for the mobile version.

I love it!

Why the hell did we not think of the articulating 5 gallon bucket!

Looks similar to our robot including the same color bucket!

We racked our brains for hours trying to figure out floor pickup.

Tell Wayne send us some hints next year.:)
He did however give me one of your team's championship medals, which is hanging in our showcase at school.

Congrats!

Really impressive. Very compact electronics! Impressive, but can't be any fun to work on.
Good luck this year!
Also, no photon cannon?

Thank you everyone for the kind words about our robots. But don't let the looks fool you. This goes down as one of the most complex builds we every had and we still have some work to do.

Thanks! Due to how the pickup mechanism is arranged, the majority of the bottom of our robot is open (meaning we do not have a traditional bellypan), so we had to get creative with how we mounted all the electronics. We constructed the angled carrier you see at the front of the robot to hold the power distribution board, cRio, digital sidecar, spike for the compressor, RSL, radio, and solenoids. The pneumatic cylinders used for tilting the shooter are connected at the top using quick release pins. Pulling out the pins allows the entire shooter mechanism to hinge backwards (outside of the robot's frame perimeter), providing easy access to the electronics on the back side of the carrier.

All of the speed controllers are arranged (rather tightly) on a small hinged tray on the bottom of the robot. All of the wires feed into this tray from one direction, allowing us to tilt the robot on its side and swing this panel open to get at the Talons.

With the much wider goals this year, we didn't see much need for a photon cannon. However, we do have another system in place to let us know when we're in the correct shooting position. ;)

It's not in the video, but you guys will be at Vegas right? This will be a great bot to see in person!

Yes, we (25) will be there! We're excited to head back out west to see some old friends and meet new teams. The video only listed the competitions both teams are attending.

I give up...

great looking robots. I am not looking forward to TCNJ anymore. We will go hide in our corner.

on second note, I am really glad we are not competing at hatboro.

Is your under the pyramid auto just as fast with the climber on? With out having seen you actually articulate the climber , it seems like it could take several seconds to articulate it into the right positions to get under the pyramid and shoot.

The arm moves down and stays under 30 inches until needed. Our auto is not effected at all.
