Hello everyone.
We will be broadcasting at Alamo. Somehow a few links got posted while the site was still more template than useful info, but I assure you it is finished now and you can go directly to
http://www.roll24productions.com/alamoregional
to select which level of competition you would like to watch the webcast or recorded matches for.
We are excited to be working at a big FIRST regional, and hope we can provide everyone with a high quality stream. We will be streaming FRC, FTC, and FLL Thursday through Saturday and recording matches and posting them to youtube throughout the competition. We will also have several of the most knowledgeable commentators I have ever seen discussing competition in between matches on the FRC stream.

Thank you!
Between match commentary sounds awesome! I know that sometimes when we send out the webstream link people back home get confused about penalties, rules, etc. so that'll definitely be helpful! Discobots RULE!

I don't know who was doing the Lone Star webcast, but I'm told the match commentary was pretty annoying. Largely because it was happening during the match, so the commentators were trying to talk over the excellent Tim Rosas. If the commentary happens between matches, that's probably perfectly fine and useful.

Looks like a very nicely produced website. The archiving did not seem to be available for all regionals and we will really appreciate the ability to review matches on the spot. I would agree with Kevin that commentary during the matches is not really necessary, as there is a match to watch.

I agree with Kevin.
Waterloo had Mike and Justin talk between matches (and not for all the matches). That seemed to work just fine. There's plenty of deadspace there for ads, analyzing, and color commentary. The match time should be reserved for live commentary.

The match time should be reserved for live commentary.Live commentary from the live commentator that's already there providing live commentary. They're not always perfect, but they're on the field and can better see what's going on when the producer decides to focus for 15 seconds on the robot struggling with loading frisbees from the loading station.
I should be in Friday morning and I'd like to help out with anything with the webcast when I'm not working with Andy and the DiscoBots.

Nice job guys. Are you planning to post the rest of the matches? I am willing to see my team in action at match 86 and in the quarter finals. Anyway, awesome job, the video displayed after the winner of the RCA was announced was epic.

What happened to the elimination matches on Roll24Productions channel on Justin.tv?
Are they being archived elsewhere?
Thanks,
Norman

Hey everyone,
Just want to reassure you all that we are working on getting matches posted.
We were using lots of new equipment to manage our video at this event, and had more than a few issues. Someone pulled the ethernet connection to one of our machines, which should have only effected the live stream, but caused the encoder to crash and corrupted all of our recordings also.
We did rip all of the matches from saturday before Justin took them down, and they should be available on youtube very very soon, hopefully tonight.
Thanks for your support!, sorry for the delays

When they are up, they will be on Roll24 youtube channel (http://www.youtube.com/user/roll24productions).
In the meantime, a 1592 mentor was able to download their matches and re-upload to youtube (http://www.youtube.com/user/chris1592robotics/videos).

We don't have all qual matches up yet. But at least quals 69-92
and eliminations are up on youtube (http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLQYeuxvsbwi53wpvEKRL3RJmbTI_m4PYU).
I've added the proper links to blue alliance as well. So hopefully they will show up in a few days.
