Calling all FIRST teams in the United States, Athena's Warriors Team 3182 would like to invite YOU to take part in a great outreach opportunity! Let's show FIRST in every hometown across the country!

The New York Times is hosting an event online called "Lens" where teenagers are invited to submit pictures to document our generation's view of life in the United States. How great would it be if, by taking part in this event, we all introduced FIRST to America in a big way?!

Sound interesting? Here's what you have to do:

Take a few pictures of your team, your build site, competition, and your robot (of course!), pick four really great shots and have a mentor submit them to the Lens webpage (http://submit.nytimes.com/lens-my-hometown)!

Each person on the team can submit four pictures and the New York Times mentioned that every submission would get at least one image included in the final production.

You can use any type of camera as long as you can convert the files to JPEG and it's 1-5 MB.

I figure that if we can get at least one submission from every team then there will be a ton of pictures for the New York Times to post featuring FIRST Robotics teams!

Let's show everyone what it's really like to live in the technology age, FIRST style!

Thanks!

The close parenthese is part of the link, hence the error.

Never mind, just pasted the URL without the parentheses and it worked fine.

So I'm really new to CD and I can't figure out how to edit the post... can anyone help me out? (And there's no edit button in the lower right hand corner, so is there any other way to edit the post?)
Thanks :)

If it's any consolation the link is here:

The edit button is there for about 24 hours from the time of the post. After that, no editing is possible, unless you happen to be a moderator. So, if you were to want the original post edited, you could PM a moderator with the change you wanted made. (Some forums have no editing at all; for those a moderator is needed any time you want to make a change.)
