I tried to do a search for this but had no luck. I don't know if I'm just being dumb or not, so please don't eat me if there is already been a thread about this.

I'm just curious what the qualifications are for a new regional event to be started in a particular place. Is there a "# of teams threshold" or is it mostly unofficial. And if so, how does one go about starting an event?

I know that here in West Virginia, we don't have enough teams to do so (yet), but I'm just curious about the whole process.

Thanks!

You might hunt down Meredith Novack on here....she's pretty familiar with the whole process and could answer any questions

Additionally, you can contact Richard Sisk on here from 2493. He started the Inland Empire Regional.

By the way, both Inland Empire and Razorback are such cool sounding names for events :)

I don't think anybody would disagree with you, there!

I suggest tracking down 4334. They only went from only 2 teams in an area to a regional in one year, and all that.
