So -

Apparently registering for the Waitlist for Championship wasn't a bad idea after all - especially considering that we got an email today inviting us to go. In other words - we have less than two weeks to raise some money, pack some pit, print some scouting sheets, get a hotel, get on a bus (Thanks to FRC 3753 for letting us ride with them), and convince a principal to let us go.

Life is never boring when you're an FRC coach.

Best of luck. One question - after your last event, did you just leave your robot bagged since you were on the waitlist and had a small chance of going? I've wondered what the protocol is.

Team 857 (Houghton MI) was invited to MSC on Tuesday. They left Wed, stayed overnight at Mackinaw, got to Ypsi about 1:00 pm Thursday. Matches started at 3:15 pm.

I was wondering why their pit was empty Thursday at noon. They need special recognition tomorrow for their effort.

Good luck at Champs!
You won't regret the effort to go.

Did you register as soon as you could (like, to the minute?)? I think teams that did hat have a better chance than they think.

Congrats! Have fun!
