That's a pretty nasty hit... Were they ok?
Just like them, I fell on the floor.

Top-heavy O_O that's an impressive sight, in a good and bad way...

That looks like the Scott Stevens hit on Eric Lindros in 1999...some say it was the career ender for Eric...

I was thinking the exact same thing. Good thing robots are sturdier than Eric Lindros ;)

Looks shockingly similar to a hit 195 received in the CT quarterfinals. Except in CT, 195 was hit by their opponent's pyramid instead of their robot :P
I think it's a function of high CG teams being hit on the corner and spun at the same time that can lead to the quick, dramatic tips. Rounded corners are a great idea for these teams.

It looked like 987 caught the gap in their bumpers.

OOPS...
What teams?
Guessing based on the blurry bumper numbers, and the half-spoken number at the end of the clip (51), I think this is qualification match 2 on Archimedes. http://www.thebluealliance.com/match/2013arc_qm2
Red: 4466, 4471, 1011
Blue: 2486, 51, 987
I think it's 987 crashing into 1011.

We had a big hit like this at the Pine Tree Regional. Here's the video, complete with dubstep remix:
Here ya go! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=exmlESlJgY8&feature=youtu.be)
Video credit goes to Kailey Martin.
Here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QUPAajNY5lw) is the link to the match video; the hit occurs at about the 1:36 mark. Currently uploading the rest of the match footage we have. The hit was completely unintentional on our pit neighbors 1011 Crush. They are a great team on and off the field and the great news is they were back in action next match.

Not quite as dramatic, but I bet it would of been had the other robot had a higher center of gravity.
As a team that went up against 987 in Las Vegas, we can attest to the power of their robot. Amazing stuff.
I think I saw Team 78 receive a similar hit in FLR, although that looked more like the other team just brushed them slightly. They still spun out while tipping over.
It was like robot ballet, can't find a video for it though :o .

My team also got a pretty bad hit in Orlando (at 1:17)-
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OUh8Jt5-9dE
The other team (1772) lifted up their shooter and rammed right into us. We got flipped on our side, and the battery flung out. As they pulled back they got stuck on our frame and actually up-righted us, our battery was barely hanging on by a bit of Velcro (you can see it in the video). We wanted to keep playing but got disabled from the FCS for safety reasons.
Our robot was mostly fine afterwards, but our 80/20 frame was bent a bit from rectangular to a bit of a parallelogram at the base.
The competition was a lot of fun though. :D

0:13 Frist? lol
While not nearly as visually satisfying, here is video of our robot taking out two robots in about fifteen seconds:

My wife went to John Moore, Coach of the first disabled robot (the one tipped over) to apologize; he told her it was a great hit, and if this was the NFL he'd want to watch that several times on a highlight reel! If that's not graciously professional, I don't know what is!

At St. Louis regional, there was not a great hit, but there was an interesting experience when we (3397) were trying to block 1706 from getting to their feeder station, and our robots ended getting stuck together. We were later freed by 931 coming and doing a bit of ramming.
Edit: Here is the best video I could find of the incident: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-sio6jCGAxo (The beginning is missing)

If we're just sharing our most impressive hits this season, then I feel obligated to mention our robot knocking over team 2186 at 1:25 in this video:

Our apologies to the Bulldogs.

Did you record this in 3D? If so, what camera did you use?
