I mostly agree with all of your predictions, but I think alliance 1 will take it all on Newton.

That was my toughest call, considering how good 1538 and 1986 are, but something was telling me to go with that 5th seeded alliance.

I take back my words. It looks like the Galileo alliance has advanced, not Newton.
Scoring error in semis put Galileo and Newton in a 1-1 tie instead of a 2-0 Newton win. Galileo then made it 2-1 by putting on an automode clinic and scoring discs fast and furious.
So, now for the question:
Archimedes? Or Galileo?
Glad to see none of you experts picked us (Newton 4) to beat the #5 alliance.
We were pretty sure we could beat #5 and we did.
Also I was sure that #3 was the best alliance on Newton and was surprised that nobody picked them.
I guess it was hard to predict by not being there watching this division in person.

I can't prove it since I didn't post yesterday (was a bit too busy to be looking at CD; go figure :)) but I was pretty sure you were going to win as well. Not sure I'm an expert, though.

I didn't think at the time that they were the best alliance, but I do know I was really hoping we didn't have to play them. I guess I was right. :ahh: They were a great alliance and they deserved the win. I'm just sorry that things didn't work out to make Newton the Einstein winners. We've never been in the division that won champs; I guess if it can't be you you'd like it to be the team that beat you. ;)

This is first time I am seeing these predictions.
While we did feel good about the alliance we had formed from the #5 position, we certainly had a ton of respect for the #4 alliance and the Digital Goats. Nice work on Newton.

Thanks, you guys were great. I was just funnin' the guys in this thread. I didn't think we would win either.
