Is it girls only? Or just a set of girls only matches?

MrTechCenter

There is a set of girls-only matches between lunch and elims.

Although we are still working out the costs, you can expect the registration fee to be about $200 with a $100 Volunteer Deposit. Check back on the website once it is up for a more precise registration fee. Thanks, and we hope to see you there!

Sorry Adam, I was just responding directly to his statement. By no means was I trying to exclude any team.

In fact, we REALLY HOPE to see 973 and 1323 there.

If we were to list all the teams we hope will attend, the list would look a lot like Pi written out to the thousandth place.

I'm glad this price was lowered, I was going to complain that the price was disproportionately high compared to the other CA events we attend.

Sorry about that, when I first posted the event pricing I used the wrong number. The price listed on that post is now more accurate, as it has been corrected. Thank you for your interest, and we hope to see you all there!

We purposely have not posted it yet. 99.999% chance that it will be at:

Pleasant Grove High School
9531 Bond Road
Elk Grove, CA 95624

We didn't post it because the school district has not finalized the paperwork, but they approved this before so it shouldn't be a problem.

I have a couple more important updates for teams who are attending, as well as those who are thinking about attending:

-Introducing the Intel© Scholarship for Powerhouse Pwnage, a scholarship opportunity meant to aid teams who cannot afford the standard Powerhouse Pwnage registration fee. Teams who would like to attend the Powerhouse Pwnage Off-Season Competition and are interested in this fantastic opportunity can read more
here (http://www.wolfpackrobotics.org/powerhousepwnage/register/intel-scholarship-powerhouse-pwnage/).

-In addition to a set of all-female drive team exhibition matches, Powerhouse Pwnage will be giving awards to females who have gone above and beyond in the field of engineering and the community of FIRST. We will also be holding all-girl exhibition matches after qualification matches! You can find more information here (http://www.wolfpackrobotics.org/powerhousepwnage/sample-page/about-chicks-n-charge/).

-A party will be held immediately following the close of pits on Friday September 13th, and will be free to enter for the first 15 teams that register for the event. The party will include video games, table games, a dessert bar, music/dance, and a movie screening. Make sure you register soon if you want to enjoy this experience for FREE.

Click here (http://www.wolfpackrobotics.org/powerhousepwnage/) for more information about the event, to register your team, or to register to volunteer.

We still have a few spots left at this event! Hurry and register if your team wants to come! Remember, you don't have to pay at the time of initial registration, but payment is due August 31st. Also, out-of-town teams do NOT have to be here Friday September 13th, they may arrive early on Saturday September 14th. Time is running out! Hurry!!!

I'm going to be very excited to see 701, 973 and 1678's offseason bots. Anyone on this thread care to comment about what they might be?

By the way, I thought 1323 was fielding their practice and comp bots?

I can't wait for the competition.

We'll only be bringing 4-5 or so students up for one day, we decided to only bring a single bot.

Looking forward to playing with all the teams there!
