We are interested in programming in C++ this year, and I have not been able to find a place to download Windriver, it looks like I need an install disc or product key. Where can I find that information?

That almost certainly goes against copyright laws. I would strongly recommend against it. I would talk to other local teams to see if they happen to still have their disks laying around.
