Autonomous Unicycle!

You have go to see this. Some former Highland High Robotics team members and now current team members of 0x27 have created this unicycle to compete in the sparkfun event this weekend

Amazing! It took me to realize they had a helicopter rotor on their to control the turning. Can't wait to see how this kind of technology gets used in the real world!

I recall a challenge made at the Nationals a couple of years ago. with two wheels on the Segway, one was redundant.
