In a our Labor Day edition of How I Work, we highlight our first mentor from MAR, Mr. David Bodmer.

This week we have our first mentor from the Mid-Atlantic Region (MAR) District. David Bodmer is the lead mentor for FRC#11 MORT and their Beta team FRC#193. David shares with us a great story about arranging transportation to a regional the day of the event, his reason for why he loves what he does, and several great quotes.

Oh Baby, is it time to start the MAR mentors? There are a whole bunch of people who I would love to see answer this and Mr. Bodmer is a great way to start.

Send me email addresses and convince them to do it. We always need more submissions.

I have to chime in about Mr. Bodmer. I feel that he is the best thing to happen to 11 in a long time. He is a really honest and hardworking team leader who is always happy and putting in the time to make 11 become the best team possible. Under him, parents, mentors, students, and sponsors, all come together for a singular cause. I honestly can't wait to see where MORT and MORT Beta end up in the future under his leadership. He is a very inspirational mentor and I hope more people get to know him whenever they see 11 at an event.

Thanks Mr. B!

Dave is the real deal. He's a guy the entire team (and community) looks up to, and with now 2 FRC teams to oversee has quite a full plate. Yet, the Mount Olive Robotics Team continues to improve year after year under his guidance (both on and off the field).

As someone who takes great pride of being a member of team 11 once upon a time, Dave has made MORT alums even prouder to call Mount Olive their alma mater.
