At the moment we're trying to figure out the remainder of our competition schedule. It's been an interesting process to say the least.
Looking for registration money :\

2220 is busy with a mock build season for an offseason in November, along with organizing and assisting the 8 FTC teams that work with us in our shop... it's a little bit chaotic right now!
Also working on acquiring and maintaining sponsor relationships and partnerships... more on that later :P.

My team is currently working really hard on our FTC robot. We have a ton to do so it won't interfere with our FRC season. We also have decided to attend two competitions for the first time since our rookie year of 2010. I (and the rest of the team) are super excited.

Sounds a bit similar to us. New team structure, new training, new fundraising goal (10 times last years), New machines.

Thanks, It's a refreshing change. We're bringing our A game this year!
We're preparing for a few community events coming up in the next month. Also training new members... I can speak for programming, we'll be training kids on LEGO Mindstorms (mainly NXT-G, don't have the new one yet) first then labVIEW. Rookies who are good with it could eventually go onto mentor FLL teams in the area.

We are currently fundraising for the upcoming season, preparing for our fll tournament, and trying to get as much programming on our AUV as possible before FIRST comes.

To answer OP's question we are...
- Planning for a few FLL events (training sessions, scrimmage, and tournament).
- Training new members with VRC (four team of 4-5 members a piece).
- Preparing a new-ish machine for GRITS (applying lessons learned and playing with pneumatics).
- Creating a new marketing platform for the team (blind pitch documents, presentations, new sponsorship tiers, etc.)
- Trying to raise some money.
Soon, we plan to...
- Start lessons for FRC (machine shop, CAD, etc.)
- Build a telescoping elevator.
- Plan for kickoff.
- Disassemble all of our prototypes and extraneous machines.
- Clean up and organize the shop.
- Place large orders for parts and raw materials for the 2014 FRC season.
Who says the off-season isn't busy?
- Sunny G.
