Student on team #191, The X-Cats, from Joseph C. Wilson Magnet High School and Xerox.
On the Today Show this morning Katie Couric announced an interview after the next commercial about an invention that will revolutionize the world, be more important than the PC and something the writer of a book about is calling the Soul of the New Machine meets The New New Thing.
Whatever it is, is being called 'IT' because there are only about a dozen people in the world who have seen the prototype of 'IT' - the engineers, investors and the inventor. A few people, including the writer of
a book about 'IT' have some limited information. And of course...it has to have something to do with Dean Kamen.

Rumors about something have been heard when as far back as 1994, but Dean never ceases to amaze us... with his dialysis machine and infamous wheel chair.
But Dean says he's keeping 'IT' secret because “huge corporations” might catch wind of the invention and “use their massive resources to erect obstacles against us or, worse, simply appropriate the technology by assigning hundreds of engineers to catch up to us, and thousands of employees to produce it in their plants.”
So what do you think 'IT' could be? they say 'IT' will change the world as we know it (much like the internet), and whole cities will be built around it.
...any ideas???
