Hi everyone,
WPI’s FIRST Research Group is investigating how the FRC Control System tools and documentation might be improved for the 2015 Season. We are hoping that one student and one mentor from each team could take our survey to help us improve WPILib and other software tools in the years to come. Any responses help; we would like to know what features you think need to be improved, as well as what features you like. The development of the 2015 control system is going on right now and your opinions could have a big impact on the results.
You can really help us shape the future of the control system!
The survey can be found here: http://goo.gl/7vZDAz
Thank you in advance for your participation!

Unfortunately we don't have a list of team contacts and email addresses. So our next best option was to use all the forums and social networking outlets that we could find. So as you are implying, the survey is likely skewed towards teams that regularly make use internet resources like this site, Facebook, etc. to find information.
You can help us get the word out by sending a copy of this survey link to members of other teams you know who might not have seen this post. We would especially like to get to rookie teams who are less likely to be aware these sources of information.
Thanks for the help!

Team 1726 mentor input submitted.
BTW, I'm impressed with the quality of the WPI library overall. Good work. Is this work done by the WPI students?

Thanks again for everyone's support! We've collected a lot of good information from the community so far, keep the responses coming. We're going to be closing the survey around 2-3pm EST on Monday, so if you haven't yet responded or know another team that hasn't responded, please fill it out before then.

Is it possible for you to make a summary of everyone's responses, talking about what main concerns were and how you'll be reacting to them?

Hello everyone. We have now closed the survey, and we'd like to thank you all for your feedback. We are now going to begin the process of analyzing all of the feedback. This project is part of a program at WPI called the Interactive Qualifying Project, and we will be submitting a report for it in late-December. You should be able to find it sometime around then here: http://www.wpi.edu/academics/library/find/iqp-mqp.html. The advisor's name is Bradley Miller, that will likely be the easiest way to find it. If you can't find it, send a message to Brad, Alex, or myself, and we'll help you find it. Thanks again for everyone's support, this will really help us improve the control system moving forward.
